2026 Juneteenth Vendor Registration

12th Annual Juneteenth Celebration at Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park

We invite local artists, crafters, food vendors, and nonprofit organizations to join us for a day of culture, history, and community at the 12th Annual Juneteenth Celebration headlined by Stokely! This is a great opportunity to promote your business or mission to a diverse and engaged audience in a meaningful setting.

Vendor Categories 

Art, Craft & Prepared Food Vendors
Includes crafts, artisans, baked goods, coffee, frozen treats, and other pre-packaged foods.

Food Truck Vendors 
For vendors cooking and serving food onsite.

Nonprofit Partners
Local nonprofits may register to host an informational booth at no cost, but registration is still required.

Interested in greater visibility? Vendors or Non-Profit Partners may choose to participate as a sponsor for an upgraded fee, which provides added support for the event and increased recognition for your business. 

Set-Up & Participation Info

  • Vendor check-in begins at 6:00 AM on Saturday, June 13th. 
  • Set-up begins at 6:00 am and must be completed by 9:00 AM. No vendors will be allowed to set up in the Park after 8:30 am. 
  • No vendor vehicles will be permitted in the park during event hours. Vehicles used for setup must be moved to the parking area at Queen Chapel AME on Beach City Road by 8:30 am; a shuttle will be provided. 
  • Vendors must remain onsite for the entire event (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM). No early breakdowns due to event participant safety and limited access to the park entrance and exit. 
  • All vendors must provide tents, tables, and chairs, and are responsible for their setup and breakdown. All tables must be draped with a tablecloth or skirting. Food vendors must provide their own backline trash cans. 
  • The Park does not provide electrical power for vendors; please plan accordingly. 
  • Nonprofits and Arts & Crafts vendors are allowed only 3 persons per tent. Names must be provided to Historic Mitchelille Freedom Park Staff, and event passes will be issued.
  • Vendors must have a valid Town of Hilton Head Island Business License (Business License Information). All food trucks must meet HHI Fire & Safety regulations. Fire extinguishers must be up to date. 
  • Please share our 12th Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Twitter, Facebook, and any other social media you use. Tag us @exploremitchelville and use the hashtag  #exploremitchelville
  • Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. 
  • Optional Friday Set Up: 
    • Art, Craft, Prepared Food, and Food Truck Vendors are welcome to set up from 10:00 am to 2:30 PM on Friday, June 12th, to be vendors for the Drum Circle from 5:00-7:00 PM. Vendors must be parked and inside the park by 2:30 PM due to Friday’s programming schedule.
