Let the rhythm lead the way! Children are invited to take part in this interactive Drum Camp experience, where they’ll learn basic drumming techniques, explore rhythm and movement, and prepare for a special parade through the park that leads directly into the evening’s Juneteenth Drum Circle.

This hands-on program will be fun, engaging, and memorable, giving participants a chance to be part of the celebration in an active and meaningful way.

What to Expect:

• Guided drumming instruction in a group setting
• Parade through the park to kick off the Drum Circle
• Creative, hands-on experience with rhythm and movement
• Take-home keepsake for children pre-registered by June 5, 2026

Participation Details:

• Open to children of all ages (parent/guardian required to be present during the event)
• Advance registration required to ensure materials and supplies
