Guided Tours There will be no guided tours on the following dates:

The park will be closed on December 2nd from 9 am to 12noon due to construction work.

The park remains open daily.

Ormsby General Mitchel initiated the effort that became known as the Port Royal Experiment and was largely regarded as a precursor to the Reconstruction period
