Unearthing A Legacy.

ARFA Building Archaeology Project:
Echoes Through Time

The first building we are erecting in the Park is our Archaeological Research Facility and Auditorium. But before laying its foundations, we had to examine the ground beneath it for evidence of past people. Archaeologists excavated five large blocks and found over 3500 artifacts spanning thousands of years. Over 3200 of those artifacts are related to a Mitchelville era family. They also located deeply buried features from Native Americans in the same place thousands of years before. Full Collection coming soon.
