The late Dr. Benjamin Williams was an educator and historian, and a prolific speaker and writer. He used his talents to enhance awareness and to help develop the Mitchelville Preservation Project.
Dr. Williams was passionate about Mitchelville. He envisioned a destination where children and adults would gather to learn about this important part of American History.
Named in his honor, this Legacy Society in turn honors individuals who have made a commitment to Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park in their will or living trust (minimum $35,000). You can inspire others to follow your lead.
